He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pauls and Marie Pauls of Inman, KS.; his sister Esther; and his brother-in-law Edward Kaufman. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth; his daughters, Sherrill Woods and Lori Kingsley (Donald); his grandsons, Hayden Woods (Sarah), Jenson Kingsley (Kendall), Riley Kingsley (Rebekah) and Zachary Woods; his great grandchild Milo Woods; and his sisters, Lorene Isaacs (Al) and Marilyn Flaming (Pete). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Petersen Family Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Mennonite Church (429 E 1st St, Newton, KS 67114).
