She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schroeder and Gertrude Schroeder (Balzer); her husband Leonard "Len" Goering; her siblings, Virgil Schroeder, Sylvia Schmidt, Evelyn Balzer and Ina Bartel; and her son-in-law Michael Tortorice.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Goering (Alice), Tim Goering (Cheri), Russell Goering (Julie) and Lori Tortorice; her grandchildren, Ben, Anna (Jamar), Adam (Andrea), Jessie (David), Maggie (Adam), Alyx (Shane), Zach and Grayson; and her great grandchildren, Jalen, Javion, Arlo, Jaxton and Dorian.
