He was predeceased by: his father Earl Ewy. He is survived by: his mother Carol Ewy; his son Craig; his wife Jeni; his children, Matraca Smith (Jordan), Monica Minchew (Tate), Jacob Ewy, Harley and Cooper McCormick; his sisters, Diane Yoder (Mark) and Lanita Bohn (Arlin); and his close friend Adam Grieser (Vanessa).
