Catherine Alberta Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2024, at the age of 81, Catherine Alberta Schmidt in Newton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Alvena Wherrell (Newton); her husband Alvin Roy; her daughter Sandra Mills (David); her siblings, Lloyd Wherrell (Elizabeth), Wilbur Wherrell (Marien), Robert Wherrell (Yvonne) and Rose Lindsey (Chester); her father John W Wherrell; and her brother-in-law Gerald Sartain.

She is survived by: her sister Delores Sartain (Gerald); and her children, Daniel Schmidt (Carol), Jerry Schmidt (Marishawn), LaDena Goff (Kenneth) and Sonia Buchta (Brad). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
