With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Vermilyea in Newton, Kansas, born in Hiawatha, Kansas, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Duesing and Anna Keup Duesing; her children, Stephen of Newton, Paul of Newton, Alan (Anita) of Walton and Nancy McFarlane (Robert) of Altoona, Iowa; her siblings, Wesley Duesing (Linda) of Hiawatha, Kansas, Joyce Goodwin (Bill) of Syracuse, N. Y. and Grace Klaassen (Vernon) of Sedgwick; her grandchildren, Evan Vermilyea, Ben McFarlane, Hannah McFarlane Jean, Lenae Vermilyea and Madison Vermilyea; and her great grandchildren, Paisley Jean, Emmett Jean, Liam Vermilyea and Hayden Vermilyea.
