She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Holmes and Edith Holmes (Craddock); her husband Howard Miller; her stepmother Frances Holmes; her daughters, Gloria and Dawna Miller; her great grandchildren, Ryan Tener and Christopher Horn; and her sister Lou Fixsen Christian.
She is survived by: her children, Erle Miller (Glenda), Gary Miller (Diane), Stephen Miller (Anita) and Sheryl Hoffman (Ron). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (200 W 6th St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or First Baptist Church and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
