He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Nunez and Ventura "Terrones" Nunez; his wife Jovita "Jo" Hernandez; and his siblings, Max, Vita Sanchez and Isabel Alanzo.

He is survived by: his children, Rita Large (Ben), Maryann Locken, Phillip Nunez (Kitty) and Aurelio "Willie" Nunez Jr. (Kennan); and his sister Frances Gomez. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF MR NUNEZ PASSING. HE AND JOVITA WERE WONDERFUL INDIVIDUALS. I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES HE KEPT OUR FURNACE AND OTHER APPLIANCES WORKING.
