She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Cowan (Montgomery) and John Cowan; and her son Jerry. She is survived by: her husband Ed; her daughter Karen Cox (Greg Black) of Sedgwick; her siblings, Bruce Cowan and Lois Markley; and her grandchildren, Zac Cox (Alli) of Seattle, Kendal Heyman (Alex) of Wichita and Jordan Black (Coley Lenners) of Sedgwick. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
