He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank G. Otter and Margaret K. [Bates] Otter; his siblings, Emory, Rita, Virginia and Irene; and his son Douglas E. Otter.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his siblings, Alvin Otter, Sr., Donna Otter and JoAnn Long; and his children, Frank [Levonne], Greg [Tammy], Steve and Emily [Gary]. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
