He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Hembree and Hazel Hembree (Clapp); his daughter-in-law Diana Hembree; and his siblings, Jim, Bill, Donnie, Betty Foster and Joan Quick.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Fred Hembree (Sherry), Bobby Hembree, Steve Hembree (Joy) and Tena Wasinger (Rod); his sisters, Norma Keller, Shirley Hudson, Patsy McCoy and Sue Buchanan; and his sister-in-law Mary Hembree. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the National Alzheimer's Association.
