He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jr. Horchem and Eva Horchem (Jaehde); his siblings, Betty Schneider and Rex Horchem; and his son Craig Horchem.
He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Kay Horchem; his sister Linda Claycamp (Terry); his sons, Brad Horchem (Cindy) and Todd Horchem (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Travis Horchem, Megan Heyns (George), Kali Solomon (Mark) and Jana Horchem. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
