He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Delaney and Frieda Delaney (Meis); his niece Shelly Wesley; his father-in-law Bud Witthuhn; and his brother-in-law Larry Kleweno.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Witthuhn; his son Jared (Stephanie) of Ness City; his grandchildren, Clayton, Carl Delaney and Brooke; his siblings, Dean Delaney (Kathy) of Alamota and Marion Kleweno of Bazine; his mother-in-law Pauline Witthuhn of Ness City; and his brother-in-law Don Witthuhn (Nancy) of Bazine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Grandchildren Education Fund or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
