He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Overlease and Ramona Overlease of Abilene; his wife Annette Spresser; his children, Nathan Overlease (Lisa) of Stockton, Mathew Overlease (Tiffany) of Ness City, Aaron Overlease (Laurol) of Solomon and Amber Pfannenstiel (Trevor) of Ness City; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Ashtyn, Brynlee, Kellen, Brooklyn, Trey, Kambri, Reid, Chase, Ricki, Reese and Raelea; his great grandchildren, Ruthie and Kingston; and his siblings, Ron Overlease (Cindy) of Abilene, Sandy Cearley (John) of Kansas City and Barb Seib.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home (207 N Pennsylvania Ave, Ness City, KS 67560). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (606 S School St, Ness City, KS 67560). A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be given to Friends of Webster State Park or to the Ness City Historical Society.
