He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Dude and Agatha DeWitt (Davis); his siblings, Sue Warren and Gene DeWitt; and his granddaughter Desiree Lynn Latham.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Lynn Simmons; his children, Robert Ward (Denece) of Golden, MO., Danny DeWitt (Sandy) of Carrollton, MO., Terry DeWitt (Jamie) of Sycamore, KS., Kim Ward of Neodesha, KS. and Tammy Latham (Chris Collins) of Neodesha; and his siblings, Donnie DeWitt of Cherryvale, KS., Rose Beck of Fort Myers, FL. and Ann Smith of Independence, KS.
