He was predeceased by: his significant other Doris Evelyn Long Osburn; and his siblings, Kenneth A. Osburn, Orlie F. Osburn, Lola M. Bomboy, Marvin R. Osburn, Barney Lee "Jim" Osburn, Harold "Hub" Osburn, Dorothy Elaine LaForte and Donna Jean Osburn.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Lynn Ponder (Cecil) of Decatur, AL and Charles Kevin Osburn (Jetta) of Neodesha, KS; and his grandchildren, Dawne Adams Lowden (Chris Jabben), Holly Smith (Kirk), Jennifer Osburn, Dustin Osburn (Jessica Hall) and Casey Osburn. He is also survived by father figure to many nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorials are suggested to B-29 Doc, a flying museum to honor the men and women who designed, built, flew and maintained B-29s in WWII.
