He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lester and Rena May DeVoe (Milton); his wives, Kate (Kate), Mary Arnwine of Independence, KS. and Theta June Schoonover of Neodesha, KS; his daughter Sheri; his brother John "Jack"; and his grandchildren, June and Jeremy.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Austin; his sister Lela DeVoe of Crosby, MN; and his children, Rhonda DeVoe of Wichita, Stephen DeVoe, Sr. (Sandy) of Siloam Springs, AR and Christy Springer (Michael) of Neodesha. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his name with Cornerstone Christian Church of Fredonia.
