It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert George Schirmacher (Muscotah, Kansas), born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 19, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Schirmacher and Vera Lee Schirmacher; his wife Carole Vorhies; his children, Al Schirmacher (Deb) of Muscotah, Dale Schirmacher (Kris) of Wausau, Wisconsin and Susan Buningh of Columbia, Maryland; his grandchildren, Daniel Reno, Josiah Alan-Lee (Susan), Christine Reno, Matthew Schirmacher (Alexandra), Rebekah Beaudry (Timothy), Brandon Schirmacher (Jessie), Nathan Schirmacher, Emily Schirmacher and Irie Schirmacher; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Ava, Abigail, Annabelle, Benjamin and Ashtyn.
Memorials may be made to the Muscotah United Church or the St. Croix Hospice and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
