She was predeceased by: her parents, John LaJoie and Mary Finch LaJoie; her daughter Tamara Boatright; her grandson Kelly Brown; and her brothers, Steven "Mike" LaJoie and Martin LaJoie.
She is survived by: her husband John Brown; her sons, John Brown of Muscotah, James Brown of Seneca, Jeff Brown of Muscotah and Daniel Brown of Oswego, Kansas; and her brothers, John "Butch" LaJoie of Divine and Raymond "Ike" LaJoie of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
