It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Aileen Stirton of Muscotah, Kansas, born in Holton, Kansas, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Daugherty and Ruth Gibson Daugherty; her husband Harold Stirton; her son Curtis; and her sisters, Wilma Kissel, Mildred Tannahill and Dorothy Wade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverely Jeffrey (Cecil) of Effingham and Barbara Scoggins (Fleet) of Muscotah, Kansas; her daughter-in-law Pam Green-Stirton of Muscotah, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Robyn Allen (Matt), Amanda Noll (Andrew), Matthew Jeffrey (Amy), Wyatt Scoggins (Katie), C. J. Stirton and Lane Scoggins (Sara J. Ochoa); her great grandchildren, Jackson, William Allen, Hallie, Tenley Noll, Miles, Merritt, Macoy Jeffrey, Raelyn and Rhett Scoggins; and her niece Marlene Hermann Topeka (Brad).
Memorials may be made to the Stirton Educational Scholarship Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
