It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merita Arlynn Reed in Mulvane, Kansas, born in Peck, Kansas, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Don Reed; and her parents, Elbert McGee and Wilma McGee of Wichita. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Reed (Carol) of Mulvane, Cyndi Beckman (Keith) of Derby, KS, Sheri Faissal of Wichita and Terri Reed of Wichita; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Reed (Jess), Amber Jansen (Steve), Chris Reed (Jamie), Megan MacKay (Dan), Zachary Reed (Candice), Michelle Payne (Chris), Emily Beckman and Enzo Faissal. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their respective children.
