With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Maxine Wolfe of Mulvane, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 92. As Lois Maxine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lois Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lois Maxine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ledford and Ruth Ledford (Greene); her husband Richard Wolfe; her daughter Teresa Knoll; and her siblings, Charles Ledford, Pat Ledford, Glen Ledford and Genie Simpson.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (610 S Vassar St, Wichita, KS 67218).
