He is survived by: his wife Mary; his child Darwin Pfingsten (Debbie) of Darrin Pfingsten; his grandchildren, Lane Coley (Marcianna), Jasmine Pfingsten (Michael Duni) and Chenee Pfingsten; his great grandchild Robbie Coley; his siblings, Doug Pfingsten (Michelle) and Don Cessna (Loni); and his sister-in-law Dianne Pfingsten.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
