She was predeceased by: her husband David; and her parents, Dice Allred and Elsie Allred. She is survived by: her children, David Gunter (Nancy), Bryan Gunter (Kelly) and Linda Barton (Jack); and her grandchildren, Justin, Nathan, Jill, Luke, Seth, Kimberly, Kenneth and Kelly. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with the First Baptist Church in Mulvane.
