Though Benny may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his sister Charlotte; and his children, Jeannine Cobb (Frank), Debra Malmos, Lori Shaw (Jeff) and Joel Darbro (Holly). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Webb & Rodrick Chapel (306 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1780 Montgomery County Rd 5250, Elk City, KS 67344).
