With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Allen James (Mulberry, Kansas), born in Arcadia, Kansas, who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie James and Darlene James (Hartley); his wife Judith L. Bevans; and his sister Gloria V. James. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey James (Kay) of Frontenac, KS; his granddaughter Heather Horton (Roger) of Pittsburg, KS; his sister Crettia M. Fawcett (Dick) of Grove, OK; and his close friends, Connie Monohon, Hailey and Christopher. He is also survived by many cousins, neices and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be given to the S.E.K. Humane Society.
