She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Levi Weve and Rosa Otilla Weve (Nicklaus); her close friend Abby; her husband Robert Andrew Akred; her stepdaughter Jennifer Lynne; her friend Vicki Lynn Lundstedt (Crozier); her uncle Bill Nicklaus; and her aunt Dora Nicklaus. She was also cherished by her children, many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wulf - Ast Mortuary - Mt. Hope Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church (105 S King St, Mt Hope, KS 67108).
