He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Boeckner and Florence Boeckner (Holdeman); his siblings, Alton Boeckner and Virginia Wenger; and his granddaughter Heidi Boeckner.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Giesbrecht; his children, Phyllis Nightengale (Charles) of Scott City, Eldon Boeckner of Halstead, Gary Boeckner (Karen) of Hesston and Bonnie Wiggers (Tim) of Halstead; his brothers, Robert Boeckner (Arlene) of Macon, MS and Donald Boeckner (Janis) of Greely, NE; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Boeckner of Hays. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
