He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. C. and Anna Gehring (Stucky); and his brothers, Floyd Gehring, Marlo Gehring and LeRoy Gehring.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nafziger; his children, Rodney S. Gehring of Tigard, Oregon and Rhonda Stucky (Shawn) of Moundridge; his grandsons, Zachary and Connor Stucky; his siblings, Kenneth Gehring (Ruth) of Burrton, Leona Schroeder (Norman) of Canton and Marlene Thode (Edward) of Hutchinson; and his sister-in-law Betty Gehring of Buhler.
