He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ratzlaff and Anna Ratzlaff (Koehn); his sister Mildred Shearon; and his nephew Earl Shearon. He is survived by: his wife Velda Ruth Dirks; his children, Perry Ratzlaff (Lisa) of Yuma, AZ., Dayton Ratzlaff (Cathy) and Dixie Koehn (Myron) of Moundridge, KS.; and his niece Mary Lou Goucher of Galva, KS.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
