She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald D. Smith and Emmer L. Smith (Brogdon); her husband Harvey; and her son Doug Reed. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Alligier, Sandra Blanchard (Danny), Moundridge Walters and Jeri Walters; and her sister Susie Scruggins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.
