She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Unruh and Susie Unruh (Koehn); her husband Don Schmidt; her stepmother Sadie Unruh; and her brother Sydney Unruh.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gloria Koehn (Leeland) of Homeworth, OH, Rodney Unruh (Doris) of Grafton, ND, Lewellyn Unruh (Glenda) of Galva, KS and Linford Unruh (Deanna) of Grafton, ND; and her sister-in-law Nola Unruh of Galva, KS. She is also survived by four stepchildren; and many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
