He was predeceased by: his parents, Menno C. Nichols and Inez Nichols (Koehn); and his brother Reiferd Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Blosser; his children, Nathan and Violet Nichols; his siblings, Merlin Nichols (Edith), Danver Nichols (Cindy) and Eva Jewell Unruh (LaVern); and his sister-in-law Betty Helms Nichols Wiebe.
