He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias A. Johnson and Josephine Holdeman Johnson; his wife Wanda Johnson; his daughter Edith Ann Koehn; his grandson Nolan Koehn; and his siblings, Dennis Johnson, Allen Johnson, Willard Johnson, Lois Eastland and Jewell McGinnis.
He is survived by: his children, Dayton Johnson (Loretta) of Rich Hill, Missouri and Charlotte Schultz (Glenn) of Rich Hill, Missouri; his son-in-law Ernie Koehn (Edith) of Butler, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Frances Johnson of Macon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
