He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vern Cothern and Mary Ann Cothern (McNamara); his former wife Pam Sumner; his wife Cindy Lou Byrd; his children, Vicki Hanner, Joshua Cothern, Mark Cothern and Nicholas Cothern; his brother Anthony Mitchell; and his mother-in-law Ethel Byrd. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way, as well as many children.
