With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha M. Sparks-Dean of Mound Valley, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mel and Don. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Leon Sparks; and her children, Patti Jarman (Ken), Michael Sparks (Elizabeth) and Steven Sparks (Cindy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; plus three sisters.
