It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Simons of Mound City, Kansas, born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Jack Simons, Sr.; his siblings, Connie Seabolt, Jeannie Davis and Clay Simons; and his parents-in-law, Mick and Opal Higgins.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Higgins of Prescott; his children, Jacob (Fara) of Mound City, Abigail Fern (Mark) of Pittsburg and Joshua of Denver; and his grandchildren, Schulyer, Webb, Carson and Beck.
