He was predeceased by: his father Dennis; and his sister Sheila. He is survived by: his son Thomas J. McCarty; his daughter-in-law Sandra McCarty; his grandchildren, Alayna, Thomas II, Amelia and Tucker; his mother Lila; and his siblings, Walter, Denise and Dennis. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
