She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Adams and Estel A. Watson Adams; her husband Carl Burris; her children, Steven, Joe, Jimmy, Terry and Christine; and her sister Joanne.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Burris (Janis) and Carla Yates. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
