She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scott and Ruth Scott (Barnes); her brother Chuck; her grandson Brandon Michael Workman; and her husband Virgil.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Spencer (Sherri), Larry Spencer (Shannon), Kathy Workman (Mike) and Keri Jo Purinton (Danny); her siblings, Betty Lou Cox, Verna Lee Foerschler (Tom) and J. B. Scott (Joan); and her grandchildren, Nikki Nation (Jeff), Tyler Spencer (Jamie), Miles Spencer (Katie), Keylee Hulsing (Jerry), Amber Dembkowski (Ryan), Courtney Mell (Josh), Doug Workman (Hope), Darcy Workman, Lucas Fornelli (Bethany), Ashton Schuler (Dusty), Sydney Sunderland (Cody), Daniel Purinton (Alissa), Sam Purinton, Luke Purinton and Noah Purinton. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
