It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colton James McCammon (Mound City, Kansas), born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Clint McCammon (Kendra) and Christy Harris; his siblings, Pyper McCammon (Jeb), Ella McCammon, Brycen Gregg, Gradey Gregg, KayLyne Gregg and Charly Gregg; his nieces and nephews, Flora and Callahan; his grandparents, James McCammon (Linda), Gayle Semple (Don), Teddi Wisdom (LeRoy) and Jerry Tarwater; and his great-grandparent John Payne. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mound City First Baptist Church (8424 Paine Rd, Mound City, KS 66056). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Rockville Cemetery (375TH Villa Ln, Louisburg, KS 66053).
