He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alva D Johnson and Mildred A. Johnson (Hinds); his wife Laura Elaine Gross of La Cygne, KS.; his brother David W. Johnson of Pleasanton, KS.; his sons, Brad A. Johnson of Arma, KS and Kendall W. Johnson (Doris Johnson) of Mound City; and his grandsons, Bobby H Johnson (Jaime Johnson) and Clinton W. Johnson (Emily Johnson). He was also cherished by six great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
