It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawnah Lee Nell Slemp of Moscow, Kansas, born in Satanta, Kansas, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee and Retta Nell Slemp (Hanna); her siblings, James Lee and Myrtle Ruby; and her close friend Lori Weatherly.
She is survived by: her children, Sharmayne Dorsey of Moscow, KS., Samantha Dorsey (Derek Wiggins) of Moscow, KS., Clayton James Dorsey (Tabatha Mitchell) of Kiowa, KS. and William Dorsey (Billy) of Kiowa, KS.; and her grandchildren, Zayden, Camron, Trilbey, Taeleigh, Jaibreon, Itavia, Azalea, Noah and Jackson. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for Moscow High School Booster Club.
