She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stokes and Emma Stokes (Toland); and her husband Frank Gunsauley. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Brotz and Lorie Sneed (Michael); her grandchildren, Ryann Sickel (Samantha) and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Tori Sickel, Rylan Bowman, Hunter Feickert, Grayson Westbrook, Logan Bowman, John Bowman III (Tripp), Milo Brotz, Charlie Dow, Weston Bowman, Zaydin Wisdom, Abby Waltz and Kaylee Waltz; and her sisters, Gail Coulter (Bill) and Nancy Miller (Carl).
In lieu of flowers, Joellen requested that memorial contributions in her memory be made to Water for Life, which is an organization that she believed in and volunteered her time and talents. Memorial contributions can be sent to Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia Street, Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
