He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stephens and Roberta Stephens; his sister Jean Beaman; his brother-in-law Chuck Beaman; and his daughter-in-law Lori Stephens.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Stephens; his children, Rick Stephens (Lori), George Stephens and Trena Bigelow (Galen); his grandchildren, Conor Stephens (Ara), Riley Weldin (Clint), Todd Stephens, Cody Stephens, Ryan Stephens (Emily), Karlie Stephens, Kayla Simmons (Matthias), Kristina Bigelow and Bo Bigelow; and his great grandchildren, Eldon Stephens, Poppy, Bridget Stephens, Cael, Elyse Weldin, Tanner, Duke Simmons and Jovie Bigelow.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
