He was predeceased by: his parents, Montie Brown and Peggy Brown (Symonds); his parents-in-law, Bertie Swepston and Harold Swepston; and his brother-in-law Kevin Swepston.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Leslie "Missy" Brown (Fernando Vizcarra II) of Wichita, John Benjamin "Ben" Brown (Caitlin Rohan) of Lafayette and Melinda "Mindy" Brown (Derek Montford) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Kristofer Brown (Shyanne Turner), Jayson Jones Brown, Tiara Venegas (Jay), Annalea Lopez (Ulises), Takoda Bowman (Nia Russell-Spees), Emma Brown, Benjamin Leach, Lillian "Lily" Gunn, Liam Brown and Isla Brown; his stepgranddaughter Jalynn Montford; his great grandchildren, Kenai, Laken, Elijah Venegas and Ceora "Cece" Brown; his sister Joyce Bess of Parsons, Kansas; his siblings-in-law, Kent Swepston (Stephanie), Becky Swepston and Kathy McEwan (Mike); and his pets, Eva and Plum. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Memorials may be made to Wings of Warriors or Midpoint Baptist Church, and left in the care of the funeral home.
