Vera Mae Withers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2023, at the age of 87, Vera Mae Withers of Montezuma, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Schmidt and Bertha Schmidt (Yost); her brother Merle Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, Clayton Schmidt, Twilah Schmidt and Millie Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Withers of Detroit; her children, Kevin of Forney, Kimberly (Steve Peters) of North Augusta and Kendra (Forrest Holdeman) of Ithica, Michigan; her siblings, JoAnn Schmidt of Montezuma, Phyllis (Irv Bissell) of Portland Oregon and Clinton Schmidt of Grant, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Betty Schmidt of Montezuma. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
