He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Jantzen and Lillie Jantzen (Holbert); his wife Patricia Nusz; and his siblings, Melvin Jantzen, Elden Jantzen, Levina Schmidt, Virginia Jantzen and Lauretta Jantzen.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Jantzen of Dodge City, Kevin Jantzen (Teena) of Meade and Annie Stegman (Tron) of Hugoton; his brother Kenneth Jantzen of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, TJ Williams, Jayde Jantzen, Hayden Jantzen, Avory Stegman, Triston Stegman and Terron Stegman. He is also survived by two great- grandchildren.
