She was predeceased by: her parents, David Harris and Mary Lee Harris (Powell); and her niece Megan Charles Kramer. She is survived by: her husband Mark Applegate of Montezuma; her sons, Gabe, Gabriel Applegate of Lawrence and Eli Applegate (Brooke) of Dodge City; her grandsons, Andrew and Declan Applegate; and her siblings, Marcie Charles (Marc) of Dodge City and Mitchel Harris (Judy) of Ingalls. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, a host of friends.

Memorials are suggested to The Perfect Fit Foundation for Autism in Dodge City in care of the funeral home.
