He is survived by: his wife Deloris of Montezuma; his children, Jerry, Christy of Sublette, Cyndi, Willis Troyer of Apple Creek, Ohio, Melanie and Lance Johnson of Sublette; his son-in-law Shirley Nightingale of Ulysses; and his siblings, Howard Nichols of Montezuma, Milton Nichols (Joann) of Elkton, Clayton Nichols of Buhler, Missouri, Chester Nichols (Connie) of Branson, Missouri, Lester Nichols (Sondra) of Canon City, Colorado, Wilford Nichols (Jackie) of Copeland, Milford Nichols (Peggy) of Miamisburg, Ohio, Valetta Koehn (John) of Copeland and Velda Wedel (Darrell) of Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.
