It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Elwell Jr. of Montezuma, Kansas, born in Scott City, Kansas, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Elwell and Zilpha E. Elwell (Paschal); and his brothers, James and Glenn Elwell. He is survived by: his son Martin "Marty" Elwell; his wife Mary Jo; and his sister Sue Reigel (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
